The seeds were sown nearly a century ago and the tree you see here is the lone sentinel that bears testimony to all that ensued. The tree still stands, repository of many stories we will never know. Maybe one day s/he will whisper them to us. Meanwhile we will continue to share the stories we are fortunate to know while we write more as we travel into the future.
We dedicate this dream project to the universe which includes us all, having already laid the stone, having lit the lilac flame and having commenced following the Inukshuit Trail.
