Discussing creating/creativity with you in our conversations over the past 8 years or so, I always feel that this flows *through* us, not *from* us. There's nothing to compare with that feeling of total absorption, timelessness and purity of connection - whether writing a book, painting a picture or making music. You talk about *fitting in*, too, and that's one urge that we have to let go of in order to create (painful though that may be at times) because conforming is self-limiting. You reminded me that this is not a role we can ever play - we have to dance to our own inner rhythm and not try to be as others want us to be. And it's that connection with the limitless source, that is itself all alone, all-one, that has to sustain us! Bring on the wild, untrammelled, creative self - the muse who sits by our shoulders and whispers so softly that we have to temporarily lose ourselves to hear her voice!

DeleteI felt a strong pulse to comment. This space seems like the gathering around a bonfire where participants are relying on more than language to communicate. Ideas, associations and feelings are flowing like vibes "through" each of us. As we communicate through ether, we become a part of the ether that is also the collective spirit.
